Sweet and Salty Chicken
The other day a friend of mine suggested that I post work-day dinners for those who are too busy or too tired to spend hours over the stove. Although I can’t promise that all my recipes will be quick and easy, I’ ll do my best to throw in some every now and then – like this sweet and salty chicken. So B., if you like those flavors ( and I know you do ) this recipe is for you!
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken thighs
- 3/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1/2 tsp of powdered coriander
- 1 tbsp of sesame seeds
- 1 tsp of minced garlic
Preheat oven to 230°C ( 445°F ). Mix all the above ingredients ( except for the sesame seeds ) and marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours. If you can’t wait that long just marinate until the oven reaches the desired temperature. Cook the thighs for 40-45 min or until the juices run clear and the sauce appears syrupy. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice or vegetables.
